These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the WALIDA website, community, platform, features, tools and related services.
By creating an account, accessing or using WALIDA, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. ABOUT WALIDA
WALIDA is a digital platform and online community designed primarily for Muslim users and people interested in learning about Islam.
WALIDA provides social, educational and informational features that may include:

By accessing WALIDA, creating an account or using any of its services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Use and agree to comply with them.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use WALIDA.

4. USER ACCOUNTS
Some WALIDA features require the creation of a user account.
When creating or maintaining an account, users agree to:

WALIDA does not receive or store the password associated with a user’s Google account.
Information received through third-party authentication will be handled in accordance with the WALIDA Privacy Policy.
6. COMMUNITY RULES
WALIDA is intended to provide a respectful and constructive community environment.
Users must treat other members with respect.
Users must not use WALIDA to:
- Harass, threaten or intimidate other users
- Bully or deliberately humiliate other members
- Promote hatred or violence against individuals or groups
- Publish unlawful content
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Commit fraud or deliberately deceive other users
- Distribute spam
- Attempt to compromise another user’s account
- Distribute malware or malicious code
- Interfere with the security or normal operation of WALIDA
- Use automated systems to abuse, scrape or overload the platform

- Encourage illegal activity
- Use WALIDA for purposes prohibited by applicable law
Disagreement and respectful discussion are permitted, but abuse, harassment and harmful conduct are not.
7. ISLAMIC COMMUNITY AND RESPECTFUL CONDUCT
WALIDA has been created as a platform centered around Islamic community, learning and useful tools for Muslims.
Users are expected to interact respectfully with the community and with religious content available through the platform.
Users must not deliberately use WALIDA to harass members because of their religious beliefs or to intentionally disrupt community spaces.
At the same time, user-generated opinions and statements belong to the users who publish them and do not automatically represent the position of WALIDA.
8. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
WALIDA may allow users to publish or upload content, including:
- Text

- Comments
- Images
- ویدیوها
- Profile information
- Reactions
- Group content
- Other materials
Users retain the rights they legally hold in content they create.
By publishing content on WALIDA, users grant WALIDA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and technically process that content to the extent necessary to operate, provide, secure and improve the platform.
This licence exists only to enable WALIDA to provide its services and does not transfer ownership of the user’s content to WALIDA.
Where technically and legally applicable, this licence ends when the content is deleted, except where continued retention is necessary for security, legal compliance, backups, dispute resolution or other legitimate purposes.
9. RESPONSIBILITY FOR USER CONTENT
Users are responsible for the content they publish through WALIDA.
By uploading or publishing content, users represent that they have the necessary rights or authorization to share it.
Users must not publish content that:
- Infringes copyright or intellectual property rights
- Violates another person’s privacy
- Contains unlawful material
- Contains malicious software
- Is fraudulent or intentionally deceptive
- Violates applicable law
- Violates these Terms of Use
WALIDA does not necessarily review or approve user content before it is published.
The presence of user-generated content on WALIDA does not mean that WALIDA endorses that content.
10. MODERATION
WALIDA may moderate the platform to protect users, maintain community standards and comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the circumstances, WALIDA may:

- Remove content
- Issue warnings
- Limit certain account features

13. PRAYER TIMES, QIBLA AND OTHER TOOLS
WALIDA may provide tools including prayer times, Qibla direction, Zakat calculations, mosque information, Qur’an tools, trackers and other utilities.
Results may depend on:

- Calculation method
- User settings
- Third-party information
- Technical availability
Users should understand that automated calculations or location-based results may occasionally differ from local mosque practices, local authorities or other calculation methods.
Where accuracy is particularly important, users should verify the information using an appropriate local or authoritative source.
14. MOSQUES AND THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION
WALIDA may display information about mosques, organizations, locations or other third parties.
Some of this information may originate from external sources.
WALIDA cannot guarantee that all third-party information, including addresses, opening times, contact information or other details, will always be complete or current.
Users should verify important information directly with the relevant organization where necessary.
15. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
WALIDA may contain links to third-party websites, applications or services.
These external services operate independently from WALIDA.
WALIDA does not control their content, availability, security, privacy practices or terms.
Users who access third-party services should review the applicable terms and privacy policies of those providers.
16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Except for user-generated content and third-party materials, the WALIDA platform and its original elements may be protected by intellectual property rights.

- Source code
- Original texts
- Original educational materials

Nothing in these Terms is intended to claim ownership over public-domain religious texts or third-party materials in which WALIDA does not hold intellectual property rights.

- Attack, overload or disrupt WALIDA servers
- Exploit vulnerabilities

Security vulnerabilities discovered in WALIDA should be reported responsibly rather than exploited.
18. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
WALIDA may restrict, suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary, including where:
- These Terms are seriously or repeatedly violated
- The account is used for unlawful activity
- Other users are placed at risk
- Fraud or abusive behavior is detected
- Platform security is threatened

19. ACCOUNT DELETION

However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

- Hosting or infrastructure issues
- Third-party service failures
- Events outside WALIDA’s reasonable control
WALIDA may modify, improve, replace or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.
21. DISCLAIMER
WALIDA provides its platform, community features, educational resources and tools in good faith.
However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, WALIDA does not guarantee that:

WALIDA is not responsible for statements, opinions or content independently published by users merely because they appear on the platform, subject to WALIDA’s obligations under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion would be prohibited by law.
23. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA
The processing of personal data through WALIDA is governed by the WALIDA Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains, among other matters:

24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
WALIDA may update these Terms of Use when necessary due to:

Nothing in these Terms restricts any mandatory right a consumer may have to bring proceedings before the courts or authorities competent under applicable law.
27. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary under applicable law.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally possible.
